Computers are – no more than ever – crucial to research to analyze enormous sets of data, solve complex equations and simply to present results in an accessible way. Scientific software is growing more complex as computing advances and new types of hardware become available; to guarantee reliable results and collaborate productively, scientist should follow best practices for software development in general and version control in particular.
In this two-day seminar on 26-01-’26 and 27-01-’26, Dr. Phil Davies will offer a hands-on training in version control using git, a widely-spread tool.
